FRIDAY 26th APRIL - 20 excited Girls arrived at 4.45am at Dublin airport to fly to London, City Airport.
They spent the day in London: Changing of the Guard, Big Ben, Thames, London Eye, a tour of Westminster Abbey and platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross Station before travelling to Norwich by coach. SATURDAY 27th APRIL - after successfully making it out of the Escape Rooms, they sang Evensong in Norwich Cathedral where former Organ Scholar of the Pro-Cathedral Robbie Carroll is Assistant Organist. Beginning as a Benedictine Monastery in 1096, this Cathedral is a spectacular building in the very heart of the City. Afterwards, the girls showed their prowess in the local bowling alley. SUNDAY 28th APRIL - The Girls sang at Solemn Mass and Solemn Vespers in The Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Norwich. This was particularly special because newly appointed Director of Music, David Grealy, was former Organist at the Pro-Cathedral. And, then on MONDAY 29th - it was time to pack up, travel to London and fly back to Dublin.
